A winged nightmare wreathed in darkness and bearing terrible power, Be’lakor leads his armies across the mortal realms. Entering Ghyran, the Daemon Prince and his regiments of the Slaves to Darkness have entrenched themselves deep in the forests of the Jade Kingdoms… but they are not the only creatures who lurk in the shadows of the woods. As the great trees creak and moan under the leafy canopies, whispers have reached Alarielle - the goddess of life - about the invading daemons, and she rallies the vengeful forests spirits of the woods. Great, ancient treelords and strong Kurnoth hunters have assembled as the Sylvaneth break from the shadows and prepare to confront their foe. With toughened bark crushing against hardened steel, the merciless nature of both these forces foretells a desperate and lengthy conflict.
