ONeil's Quality Devons

We stopped by O’Neil’s Quality Devons last December to visit with A.J. O'Neil, not only to discuss his family farm, but also the family business O'Neil's Quality Meats. A.J. started raising Devons in 2013 on the family farm. His desire is to raise a delicious, tender, quality, healthy eating experience has led him to raise Grass Fed Devon Beef. O’Neil’s Quality Devons has over 20 registered cows on 30 acres. They move the cattle one to two times daily. Finish all of their own steers. Use Free Choice minerals on the farm to keep healthy reproductive cattle. They have established warm season and cool season perennials, along with annual grasses to extend the grazing season and allow for adequate growth. A.J. and his family continue to evaluate carcasses and are working with universities to get the best performance from their grass based genetics. Along with quality beef, they select for docility.
