Employees of a pizza shop in North Hollywood took down an armed robber and held him at bay until police could arrest him Friday afternoon. It happened around 2:40 p.m. at Pizza Press located at 5077 Lankershim Blvd.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a man entered the restaurant armed with a gun, but was taken down by the store's employees.
