Positive Intelligence (PQ) is a powerful framework designed to build mental fitness by helping individuals shift from negative, self-sabotaging thoughts to a positive, solution-focused mindset. Developed by Shirzad Chamine, PQ will equip you with the tools to identify your "Saboteurs"—those inner critics like self-doubt and fear—and activate your "Sage" mindset to boost creativity, resilience, and emotional intelligence. By practicing mental exercises to raise your PQ score, you will enhance decision-making, manage stress more effectively, and improve overall performance, which are vital skills for advancing in your career.

Becky Farone will share how Positive Intelligence can enhance your leadership, strengthen your resilience, and promote personal growth. By the end of this session, you will understand how to use these tools to boost your career success and personal fulfillment.

Growing up in unconventional Vermont with a defiant "why can't a girl do that?" Becky Farone turned that childhood declaration of innovation into a 30-year tech career. From her early days on Microsoft's original Outlook team to leadership roles at Nike, Starbucks HQ, and Columbia Sportswear, she consistently broke barriers in male-dominated spaces. A Tufts graduate who combined Art History and American Studies with a later master's in information design from Carnegie Mellon, Becky brings a uniquely interdisciplinary lens to her work.

Today, as founder of Fireworks Coaching and an adjunct career advisor at MIT Sloan, she helps analytical women in tech and STEM (anyone who struggles with overthinking) navigate transitions and leadership challenges with clear, confident decisions. Drawing from both her extensive industry experience and coaching certification from the International Coaching Federation, Becky shares practical strategies for making clear decisions, trusting yourself, amplifying your voice and claiming your space in any professional environment.
