Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 3 January 2025, we will start today's video with a stranded whale at Melkbosstrand in South Africa. Then, a crowded beach at Muizenberg today. Café Roux show at the Noordhoek Farm Village. Christmas decorations at the Gateway Mall in Umhlanga. Then, a fire yesterday behind houses in Clovelly. The helicopter was able to get the fire under control. We visit the Veldskoen padstal / Farm Stall at De Doorns. Elephants and blue wildebeest at a watering hole in the Kruger National Park. Vitamin sea at Point beach in Jeffreys Bay. SAFair from Bloemfontein touching down at the Cape Town International Airport. Pili Pili restaurant on the beach in Jeffrey's Bay. View from the Bidvest Lounge, Cape Town International Airport. A busy day at Seaforth Beach in Simons Town today. Then, we will stand and overlook the town of Nieu-Bethesda, and I will show you more videos from around South Africa.

The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
Severe thunderstorms are expected today across the eastern regions of North West Province, northern Free State Province, most of Gauteng Province, and the Mpumalanga Province. These storms may bring damaging winds, small hail, excessive lightning, and heavy downpours, which could lead to localized flooding on susceptible roads, low-lying areas, and bridges, as well as potential damage to settlements and infrastructure. Disruptive rain is also forecasted for the northern parts of Mpumalanga Province and the south and eastern regions of Limpopo, contributing to further localized flooding. In contrast, extreme fire danger conditions are anticipated in the northern parts of the Western Cape, Northern Cape (excluding the extreme north-east), western Eastern Cape, and the extreme south-eastern regions of Free State Province. Additionally, a heat wave with persistently high temperatures is likely to affect areas in the northern parts of the Eastern Cape, continuing until Saturday.

We want to show our viewers as many places as we can across the country worth visiting. South Africa is a large country, and only some locals know where all these places are, we therefore add a map that we created to show where the video was captured more or less. We also try and provide some history on many of the towns, museums and events on that day in South Africa. We take pride in bringing original and captivating videos that will leave you in awe.

Also in this video, early morning with giraffes and a lone duiker in the Kruger National Park, we drive past the Machado Toll Plaza and the Astron Energy plant in Richwood, Cape Town. We visit the Skelmkloof ravine. It is a ravine in the Western Cape Province, and has an elevation of 746 metres and is close to the town de Rust. Seven international airlines on the Cape Town International Airport tarmac. We then end the video today with a drive along the Moreleta Kloof Nature Reserve at Pretoria in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. Join us again soon for another journey across South Africa!
