Drying alcohols
Something I forgot to mention about drying alcohols is that some actually dissolve during the product formulation process, but they still have to be listed in the ingredients. Ultimately, we're not product formulators so can't say what a particular ingredient is used for in a product. Best to go by how products make your hair look and feel :)
