So, for GAI Classic, TADC would start as a movie, then eventually get its own show that would premiere on Xpress as part of Xtreme in 2008. This also marks one of the occasional instances where both companies dip their toes into content aimed at older audiences. However, Jim Henson Pictures is used because the movie is rated PG-13 (likewise, the show would be rated TV-14).

Pre-production and post-production would be done in the United States, while animation would be done in Canada.
