My name is Sabrina Clark and I founded Balanced Obedience in 2008.
I chose this name to help my clients navigate the spectrum of dog training for the best results.

As an analogy, force-free or positive reinforcement trainers are like vegans.
Alternatively, e-collar (shock-collar) trainers are like paleo cross-fitters.
These two ends of the spectrum do not mingle well. In fact, a war is brewing as the e-collar trainers are challenged by the political motivation to ban e-collars by the positive trainer organizations.

I honor all training methods, but do not use treats or e-collars. I will teach my clients how to use these tools in the dog trainer's toolbox if they wish.
