Magoebaskloof isn't an easy place to leave and truth be told, our base at Tupelo Honey Experience had a lot to do with that too! But so earlier in the trip to feel the urge to stay longer and explore more, is really a good sign!

We didn't even begin to scratch the surface of what is on offer in the area, and as food and coffee lovers, there are so many hip and quirky places that we just never got to...but it was the people who we met during our short stay that put the biggest smiles on our faces! So warm, friendly and welcoming...and inspiring - all with a story, a passion and following their dreams!

So put the R71 onto your must explore list - you will not be disappointed.

But we are all about showcasing our amazing country, so we did get on the road - destination Hoedspruit and a 'wild camping' opportunity on a private farm. And it's a short drive like this that presents such a visually stunning showcase of contrast in landscape - man, we live in a beautiful country!

5 star glamping to wild camping and all in a day...that's called living!
