PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN THEFT AND POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY CASE ARRESTED BY ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISTRICT


• ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF ANTI-NARCOTICS CELL, CENTRAL DISTRICT.

• ACCUSED PERSON WAS ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF LOCAL INFORMATION AND MANUAL SURVEILLANCE.

• ACCUSED PERSON WAS EVADING JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS TO DODGE PUNISHMENT.


A special drive against proclaimed offenders and externees is being continuously carried out in the Central District. During this drive, the dedicated team of Anti-Narcotics Cell arrested a proclaimed offender namely Sagar.

TEAM & OPERATION:

A dedicated team of Anti-Narcotics Cell, comprising ASI Manish Kumar and HC Anuj Kumar was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Manoj Kumar and overall supervision of ACP Ms. Sulekha Jagarwar, Ops.

The team continued to work on technical and manual information to trace the proclaimed offender Sagar.

The team visited the residence of the accused person but, he was not available. The team maintained close monitoring through technical surveillance, and information was also gathered from secret informers.

On Jan 06, 2026 specific information was received that the accused person was present near Tis Hazari court, Delhi. Acting swiftly on the input, the team from the Anti-Narcotics Cell reached the location and conducted a raid, during which the proclaimed offender Sagar Arora R/o Sabzi Mandi, Moti Nagar, Delhi, aged 34 years was arrested.

Upon checking the records, it was found that accused Sagar was declared a proclaimed offender in FIR No. 219/2017, under Sections 381/411 IPC, PS Karol Bagh, Delhi, on 29.05.2025 by the Hon’ble Court of Ms. Shipra Dhankar, JMFC-01, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. Accordingly, the accused person was arrested.

ACCUSED ARRESTED:

1. Sagar Arora, R/o Sabzi Mandi, Moti Nagar, Delhi, aged 34 years.
