We are building a house in Southern Leyte. Progress is fast with expected total duration well under 180 days. The house is close to a beautiful beach and will be a single story, fully accessible, 3 bedroom, with a pool and solar. It's not a traditional Filipino home but it's based on one we saw that was built many years ago by a relative. Along the way we have had more than a few challenges and made lots of changes and many decisions on next steps. Building is not for the feint at heart but we are proving that with thought and effort it can be fun watching a home emerge from a few rough drawings and ideas.
