Iftar is the sunset meal enjoyed by millions of fasting Muslims especially during the Islamic month of Ramadan. And last week students and staff at the Royal College of Art came together for the first time in a special Iftar event to mark Ramadan and share in the spirit of community and reflection.

The event was open to anyone interested in learning more about Ramadan, Iftar and Eid, and in sharing and celebrating the richness of Muslim culture together. Maliha from MA Contemporary Art Practice joined and caught up with staff and students in this event celebrating community, culture and togetherness at the RCA.
