Toni Braxton vs. Anita Baker (Studio Vocal Range Battle)

Описание к видео Toni Braxton vs. Anita Baker (Studio Vocal Range Battle)

I didn't mean for this video to be so in depth lol. It was suggested, and I had do it. It was the perfect comparison. The thing in common with Toni and Anita is that both of their tones are similar, rich, and expressive.
Anita Baker- an amazing singer with an amazing technique. Her crescendo and transition notes are so imposing. You feel her emotion ooze in her songs. She could be a quiet storm jazz artist and at the same time be a fiery soul singer. (Range: Her lowest note I spotted was a C#3 in vibrato. I didn't add it in the video though. Her highest note was a belted C#6.)
Toni Braxton -- A brilliant singer with a unique, androgynous tone. Her timbre is dark and her voice is strong and well controlled. Her head notes are very impressive too. (Range: her lowest singing note is a G#2, so far at least. Her highest note is a D6 in vibrato.)
Trentjones, ilovearethafranklin, and raveoni926 have vocal range videos of Anita and Toni. Check them out! :)
