Lasko CD09250/754200 Ceramic Heater Cleaning and Disassembly

My CD09250/754200 heater worked pretty well when I first got it, but over time it got clogged up with dust its performance started decreasing dramatically as the unit lost the ability to push hot air around the room.

The official Lasko instructions are to just use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to get the dust out, but it didn't do anything for me. I also tried blowing air into the unit to get the dust out, but the chunks of dust would just get dislodged (i.e it would still be stuck inside the heater unit). So I've disassembled the unit to properly clean it. Of course if you do this it's at your own risk!

My unit used were T15 security torx screws, but my older unit used spanner screws! The screws are also sunken fairly deep into the unit, so you need a thin/not-thick screwdriver to reach the screws.
