Textile Artist, Marian Jazmik, creates textured art from layers of heat treated synthetic fabrics, embellished with hand & machine embroidery. Marian photographs fungi & lichen on her walks across the Lancashire Moors, and recreates them in a neutral palette. A great deal of Marian’s experimental work starts with a collection of household items that are readily available in most homes or garages. Each object has the potential to be something. This is Marian’s first ever exhibition. Filmed at The Knitting and Stitching Show 2019.
Note: Heat treat synthetics in a well ventilated space.
