झटपट होणारं उपीट करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• १ मठ चमचा उडीद डाळ
• १ १/२ कप / २५० ग्रॅम बारीक रवा
• १ चमचा साजूक तूप
• २ मोठे चमचे तेल
• ३० ग्रॅम शेंगदाणे
• २५ ग्रॅम काजू (ऐच्छिक)
• १ चमचा मोहरी
• १/४ चमचा हिंग
• २०० ग्रॅम बारीक चिरलेला कांदा
• ८~९ कढीपत्त्याची पानं
• २ १/२ कप / ६०० मिली गरम पाणी
• १/२" किसलेलं आलं
• बारीक चिरलेली हिरवी मिरची
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १ चमचा साखर

Upit is yet another quick breakfast recipe. It also known as upama. It is prepared using semolina or rava or sooji. It is very quick and easy recipeWe are using 250 gm rava. I will give you many tips and tricks in this video. So, watch till end. This upma turns out perfectly like the one that we eat at street side thelas. I will tell you about which ingredients are must, which ones you should avoid, what must the capacity of the container or how much water is needed etc. This upma or upit looks nice and tastes delicious. You can try this recipe at home and write to me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp Urad dal
• 1 1/2 cup / 250 gm fine Rava
• 1 tsp Ghee
• 2 tbsp Oil
• 30 gm Peanuts
• 25 gm Cashew nuts (Optional)
• 1 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 200 gm finely chopped Onion
• 8~9 Curry leaves
• 2 1/2 cup / 600 ml hot Water
• 1/2” grated Ginger
• Finely chopped Green chili
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp Sugar
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• Wash uradal really good and soak it in enough water for about 30 minutes.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat and add rava and ghee.
• Roast rava on low heat until it gets light peach color.
• Heat up oil on medium heat and add peanuts.
• Fry peanuts well until they get nice reddish color.
• When peanuts are almost fried, add cashew nuts and fry everything well together until it gets nice
golden color.
• Adding cashew nuts is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• When peanuts and cashew nuts are fried well, take them out into a dish.
• In the same oil, add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• When mustard seeds pop up, add hing, onion, curry leaves and soaked urad dal and fry everything
well together until it gets light golden color.
• Add ginger and green chili and fry well.
• When onion gets light golden color, add rava and salt and mix well.
• Fry well until rava is hot enough and add hot water. Mix well.
• Make sure no lumps are formed.
• If you use coarse rava then use 3 cups hot water for 1 1/2 cup rava.
• Fry it well together for about 2-3 minutes.
• Add sugar and coriander leaves and mix well.
• Cover and steam upit on low heat for 5 minutes.
• Open the lid and mix well. Upit is ready.
• Garnish with fried finely chopped coriander leaves, grated fresh coconut, shev, peanuts and
cashew nuts while serving.
• Serve hot upit with a slice of lemon.
• This upit is enough for 5 people.
