１９７１生まれ。愛媛県出身。研究テーマは吃音がある人への支援法の開発。自身も吃音があり、その経験を生かし、現在、対処法が明確に定まっていない吃音で悩む人たちへの支援を行っている。吃音に関する情報を集めたサイト「吃音ポータルサイト」を開き、吃音への理解を広めることに尽力している。
