In 2013, Triple Crown Sports invited 25 of the top club directors into the corporate offices in Colorado to talk about what really worked and what was missing in the Elite volleyball world. After listening to these thoughtful and engaged leaders in the sport, the 2014 Triple Crown Volleyball Championships took place in Salt Lake City, UT, with 38 teams in attendance the first weekend in May. Since then, the event has grown rapidly and in 2017 the tournament grew yet again, bringing more than 200 teams to Salt Lake to compete. Over 300 college coaches from across the nation attended to watch one of the most anticipated events of the year.
