Barn Siding Installation | Beautiful 12" Hemlock | Board & Batten

We've just about all of our free time over the last month working towards preserving the old barn on our property. We started by lifting the entire building about 3" to get it up off the ground. Then we removed all the old metal siding, and installed new windows. Today, we're getting started on residing over the old original tongue and groove boards. We're using 1x12" rough sawn hemlock, and will be using a board & batten technique to help seal up the building. This is all new to us - we've never taken on a project this big before - never installed windows - and never sided a building before. I'm also quite acrophobic (fear of heights) - so we're learning & growing as we go. It's been fun taking you guys along with us on our journey, and hopefully we can get this wrapped up soon!
