The Sireno Type or No A siren was introduced in 1948. It was to compete with the Federal No A siren. The Sireno was not as popular as the Federal and so they are fairly rare to find. Since they were also an outside siren, finding one in this shape is even more rare. The fan is a 5-1/2" making it comparable to the M1, M11, M7 sirens.
