In this part of the story, the shepherd, heartbroken but hopeful, sets off again for Narges’ old hut. He knows that he has been rejected many times, but this time he does not want to return without trying. When he reaches the hut, with a trembling voice and eyes full of begging, he asks Narges not to continue alone and difficult anymore and to go with him to his hut in the village; where a safe roof, warm food and relative peace await them.

An emotional moment occurs; the shepherd embraces little Ali. This simple but meaningful gesture shakes Narges’ heart. Ali’s gaze, which shifts between them, seems to speak of security and peace without words. The shepherd, without pressure, but with an insistence out of love, takes a step towards returning and continues on the way to his hut. This time Narges pauses… and unlike the previous times, she moves behind him.

Their entry into the shepherd’s hut is accompanied by a heavy silence. The fire is burning in the stove and the space inside is warmer than the cold air outside. Narges looks around; where she might be able to rebuild her life. But the main question still remains in her mind: will this stay be permanent or just a temporary decision to escape hardship?

Narges’ heart oscillates between fear and hope. She must decide whether she can trust the shepherd and leave the past behind or not. This episode is the beginning of a new phase in their relationship; a phase that could end in peace… or challenge everything again. Will Narges stay in the shepherd’s hut? The rest of the story will clarify the answer.
