This week, big changes are happening at the Groom’s Cottage. Rooms that were tired and dated are finally bright, crisp and starting to feel like somewhere family and friends can stay while we restore the main house.

But not everything is straightforward. The lounge fireplace has thrown up a design dilemma that will affect the feel of the whole room and we’d love your thoughts on which direction we should take.

There’s progress in every room, a bathroom transformation nearly complete and a few surprises along the way.
