I like to cook and I cook very often. My Circulon and Cuisinart has definitely been well loved and needed replacement. I love cooking with non stick because it's easier to clean, but I was tired of the enamel finish coming off after a few months of use. I wanted to find something durable, non toxic and long lasting, so it was time to do some research. Luckily, there was a sale right around the corner for Mother's Day. I was strongly considering Le Creuset or the Always Pan because EVERYONE and their mothers were talking about it but both were totally out of my price range. So on Mother's Day weekend, I asked my husband and kids to take me to a nice lunch and for some well deserved outlet shopping. I searched through a few stores before I stumbled upon a Zwilling J.A. Henckels store. They had this beautiful 3.5 quart Cocotte on sale for $99 (originally $299! Yes, $99 is a lot upfront, but this Staub will last me a lifetime and it looks so elegant. So far I've cooked a few meals with my new cocotte and I LOVE it.
