STORYLINE:
French defence minister Sebastien Lecornu hosted U.S. and British counterparts Lloyd Austin and Ben Wallace for a trilateral meeting in the Normandy region on Tuesday.

The meeting took place on the side-lines of the commemorations marking the 79th anniversary of D-Day.

The three ministers were expected to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
