If you travel almost 52 km from Gundalpett via Muthumalai-Bandipur you will reach the most beautiful fields of Karnataka 'Gundalpett'.Vast areas of fields with Sunflower,Jamanthi(Chrysanthemum),Vadamalli(Globe Amaranth) is a feast for eye for all from the different parts.,Sunflower widely cultivated for the oil extraction and other flowers for paint and decoration.
Most of the private field are protected with fensing and a guard.
Visitors are supposed to pay entry fees.
Major share of flowers required for the special occations like Onam come from these fields.
We visited this place in the month of July.
The flowers and harvestings are seasonal,kindly clarify before starting your trips.
