WADI SHEES FUJAIRAH | UAE CAMPING SITE | WADI SHEES PARK | KHORFAKKAN | BMW GSA | ALHAJAR MOUNTAIN

WADI SHEES is probably not a very well-known and highlighted village in the UAE, however, it has a very beautiful and quiet spot to chill, BQQ & for sure Camp. A nice trip for someone seeking relaxation from busy work life.

Directions:
WADI SHEES is in Fujairah around 83 minutes’ drive from Downtown Dubai (119 KM), it is nestling between the Hajar Mountains. I took route E611 towards Khor-fakkan road and then towards the WADI Shees exit. On the way can find a couple of petrol stations, and you will see Sharjah CO-OP directly after you access the Wadi, this CO-OP is relatively small however it sells many camping-related items including Wood for fire.

Difficulty level:
Easy - Medium, 4x4 is a plus for some parts of the Wadi,

Activities:
There is around 3 to 4 nice camping spots, and its great for hiking as well, you can visit Shees park which has play areas, seating areas, a waterfall, Gerard’s coffee shop, barbeque areas, and beautiful views, moreover, you can have a walk around the natural pools or even have a swim depends on the water level.

Things to note:
When I started riding deeper into the wadi I realized that I lost signal and I even received a message “Welcome to Oman” so be aware and make sure you are prepared for any emergencies
