Pictured Rocks Boat Tour

Destination: Pictured Rocks, Munising, MI

In this episode, I've arrived in Munising, Michigan on the Lake Superior shoreline. In particular, the Pictured Rocks National Shoreline. So like a boss tourist, I bought a boat tour ticket. This is a national attraction that you really shouldn't miss. With tours multiple times of the day, and even a sunset cruise, the unique character of this shoreline couldn't possibly disappoint no matter what time of day. I was comfortable in a light jeans jacket on an otherwise warm Upper Pennisula summer day, but the effect of the cold lake water can't be under estimated. Having been on boats while wearing contact lenses, I knew to grab my sunglasses to keep the wind out of my eyes and keep the lenses from drying out. Not sure if the tour was sold out, obviously not when I ordered a ticket online, but the boat was quite full at launch. Lots of pictures, videos, selfies, and such going on. Party atmosphere, in a way, but the only mood enhancer is the beautiful cliffs, coves, arches, beaches, and forests. So, here are highlights of MY tour.
