Fireflylite X1L, SFT70 6,500K, LLC59U optic, close range demo. (this is not the oem, default optic)

I purchased this optic directly from Fireflylite, but the LLC59NF is the default, oem optic for this X1L SFT70.

This is a throwy optic, that's main purpose is in producing candela, and not necessarily a smooth balanced beam profile. For maximizing candela, I actually really like it. Obviously, as a general purpose type of light, one is going to select a different optic, but for producing candela, this optic is pretty remarkable. Using the light as a thrower, and focusing down range at the hotspot, the ringiness isn't a focal point anyways. My main, long distance beamshot comparison video is with the X1L equipped with this optic, and it performs very well.

After seeing just how well this optic produced candela, my curiosity got the best of me however, and I also ordered some additional LLC59 series of optics from Gaggione, the optic supplier in France. The LLC59R optic, actually gave me slightly higher candela than this LLC59U. The beam is actually a bit more uniform with the LLC59R also, so that's what I decided to leave in my X1L SFT70.

This LLC59U optic might still be available as an add on, directly from Fireflylite though.
