Peter Rowan is an American bluegrass musician and composer.
Rowan plays guitar and mandolin, yodels and sings.

I got into Peter Rowan through Seatrain, and then when the New Riders popularized their cover of Panama Red, I somehow acquired that nickname. We met shortly before this show both had long flowing auburn locks. He tipped his hat to me and we partook of a sacred ritual, and the rest is history.
