Travel Trailer RV LED Awning Lights / 12V RGB Strip Light Strip Lights Kit

If you are interested in how I installed them basically these lights are 12 volts. I cut the 110 volt adapter plug off and spliced the wires. Home Depot sells 14 gauge red and black wire by the foot. I bought about six feet of red and black wire and soldered it to the end of the cut wire where the wall adapter was. I then took the wires over the top of the awning to the roof. I removed the AM/FM antenna off the roof of the camper and did a roof drop with the wires straight into where the switch was for the outside porch light. I added a fuse to the power wire and added the LED lights to the porch power wire and ground. I then installed a porch LED white light with a switch so when the awning lights are on I can turn the porch light off at the fixture. I then resealed around the AM/FM antenna on the roof. This sounds complicated but was not that bad to install. It looks super clean and I am extremely happy with how it came out.
