I will make a pruning on an Acer Palmatum Kiyohime (Little Princess) that I own in my garden.
This maple has a fork in the initial part of the trunk which is not exactly the best for a plant that will become a broom style bonsai. When in winter the tree will completely lose its leaves and also I will be able to check the root part of the plant, I will think whether or not to eliminate this fork by making maybe two plants using the air layering method (#pruning #littleprincess #kiyohime #bonsai).
