The Grimdark universe is a place where highly trained soldiers by the millions and billions armed with laser weaponry powerful enough to kill elephants in one shot are treated as canon fodder. Its not like the other races have it easy as well, well except for the overpowered necrons. So, to kill each other better, they build big ass machines, and the biggest of these walking disasters are called titans.
