Heard some very tasty playing during their soundcheck amidst the beautiful Arboretum and had to stay. Beautiful inventive playing that brought Thomas Mapfumo's music to mind but maybe a little more playful. GONORA SOUNDS are also from Zimbabwe. Very lucky to hear them and wish I'd been able to record more of their set.
