This two-part presentation features MN DNR forest health specialist Jana Albers and UMN Extension educator Angie Gupta. Albers will begin with an update on what recent aerial surveys and other monitoring tell us about forest health threats in your woods now. Gupta will then discuss invasive plant and insect pests newly established in Minnesota or on our doorstep and how to report new sightings. We’ll share links to relevant fact sheets throughout the presentation and collect them all in an email afterwards. At the end of the hour, you’ll know what to look for in your woods this year and how to respond if you find it.
