A short introduction and operational overview of the Zoom G1Xon guitar multi-effect processor. This little unit may be the most fun a guitar player can have (with a guitar) for under $100 - but don't let the size and $70 price tag fool you, this pedal packs a punch!

The Zoom G1Xon combines an impressive array of digital stomp boxes with a built-in drum machine, an expression pedal, and a 30-second looper with overdubbing capability. The unit also has a mini-stereo AUX input for playing along with your favorite songs or practicing with backing tracks.

The digital effects (stompboxes) can be chained together in any combination of up to 5 boxes per effects patch, and the unit ships with 100 preset patches, any of which can be modified and saved, or new patches created. In addition to the standard array of distortions and amp models, you have access to chorus, phaser, delay, reverb, octave multiplexer, and more, to produce sounds that range from a clean jazz guitar, to Jimi and Stevie, to borderline synth style craziness!

The unit sounds great with both electric and acoustic guitars, and delivers excellent effects sound quality for such a small and inexpensive pedal.
