Cupra Formentor v. Audi S3 - Which Is Better? (Feat. PocketRockets)

Ok, so it's the most obvious head-to-head, and you could say this is the twin test nobody asked for, but hear me out... Both Cupra Formentor VZ2 and Audi S3 share the same 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder petrol engine, pumping out 310hp and 400Nm of torque.

Both cars also use a 7-speed DSG - although Audi calls it 'S Tronic' - and a haldex based all wheel drive system. They also have a limited speed of 155mph, although the S3, thanks to it's lighter weight is able to crack 62mph in 4.8 seconds compared to the Formentor's 4.9.

The Cupra Formentor is more money to buy, but comes with more as standard, and it's larger, meaning it's more practical. An Audi S3 at a similar spec would be more money, and of course, won't offer the same amount of space.
