Explainer: BMC's Plan To Fix Mumbai's Road Infrastructure

In hopes of fixing Mumbai's perennially potholed roads, the BMC has finalised the firms which will take on the mammoth project.

Five big construction firms have been finalised by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation to complete the 397 Km Cement Concrete road work.

The BMC has assured the Bombay High Court that it will complete the cement concreting of the roads under its jurisdiction within a period of 30 months starting from September 2022.
