Oxnard GothSoul band The Crystal Tears formed in the summer of 2023 as Los Bellos before debuting as The Crystal Tears in 2024 with debut single, "Solo Yo", out on 04/05 /via YAY! Records of Oxnard.
The Chicano band takes soul inspiration for Chicano legends Sunny Ozuna and combines brooding keyboard, guitar and cello/violin soundscapes and bilingual lyrics to create: GothSoul.
The "Smile Now, Cry Later" EP followed in the Summer of 2024 with "Es Halloween" and "Dia De Los Muertos" singles in the Fall, capped offer by a performance at The Ventura Music Hall with Glass Spells on Black Friday.

The debut album from The Crystal Tears was released July 11, 2025 on YAY! Records of Oxnard, CA.

A new single, "Hielo Derretido", a tribute to the gente of Oxnard, was released September 26, 2025.
