My buddy, Lety, competed in her first bouldering competition!
Womxn Up Climbing Festival Citizens Competition on July 20, 2019 @ Dogpatch Boulders, San Francisco, California.
We made an informative (hopefully) video about what to expect, strategy and tips.

A little bit about Lety:
Lety is an avid long distance runner and beginner climber. She fractured her ankle/leg in an indoor bouldering accident in Dec 2017, a few months after she just started climbing. After surgery, rest, and rehab, she was back to top-roping in the gym in Oct 2018. In May 2019, she was ready to face her fear of bouldering in the gym again. In July 2019, she competed in her 1st bouldering competition and in September 2019, she bouldered outside for the 1st time. Since then, she has also taken up lead climbing and continues to run.

[Lessons with Lety] will be a series of videos featuring Lety and include tips/advice for beginner climbers. Stay tuned, next to come in the series- overcoming injury.
