I've been quietly building up my Skirk so I can see whether she's worth a damn or not. The moment I had her triple crowned, I started No-Hitting every single boss in the game, succeeding at one I can't do with Jean, of note(The Oceanid).

Signora might be possible for me now, but there's so much RNG at play there from (most) melee perspectives that it honestly isn't worth the headache.
Raiden Shogun was the one who'd make or break my commitment to this (potential) new Main.

I definitely like Skirk. She's fast(for brief bursts), and she's definitely stronger than my Ayaka. Her flow is easy to learn and work with, albeit some of her moves seem to leave her wide open if you presume on there being nothing to dodge.
I watched a lot of people playing Skirk get destroyed, quietly assumed they don't know how to dodge, and let that be that. But learning her, myself, no. There's probably more to it. Like with SS Anby in ZZZ, you need to watch your enemy as much as your own routines. Control your enemy where you can, and plan your own extensions in action, yourself. Most of my fails on this run attempt were due to me being blinded by skirk's FX and simply not seeing what I was supposed to be dodging.

There's lots of build-up prep work there, for each burst of damage. I prefer consistency, reliability, with my Mains. Ayaka is still better, lmao. She has both of my current Mains beaten in one respect; Her Charge attack gets reach, which made this solo worlds easier than it had to be with guessing when Raiden Shogun will do *what*.

That being said, I think I'll still go the rest of the way with seeing how much of this game I can solo with her. It's definitely been stimulating, thus far.
