To date no British born and bred scholar, has articulated in detail with evidence the British Deobandi position with respect to integration. This lack of clear leadership has brought confusion amongst both Muslims and non-Muslims. Segments within the media and other circles have used the vacuum to argue the Deobandi position to be anti-integrative and anti-British based on the historical Indian situation. For the first time, The Olive Foundation has taken this courageous, but much needed step. This has come about due to large number of requests from members of the public, peers and pious elder scholars. TOF is inundated with these requests to detail the identity for a British Deobandi.
Mufti Amjad Mohammed in a series of five lectures will discuss this very issue. These lectures are based on his four-year intensive study and subsequent publication - Muslims in non-Muslim Lands.
