Madrid Apartment Tour: What €1250 per month gets you

Come see the fully equipped, fully furnished apartment we rented in the historical center of Madrid, Spain. Ever wonder what it means for an apartment to be fully equipped and/or fully furnished? You still might have to buy a few items and that can add up. We disclose the costs of all items we had to buy for the apartment while giving you a goofy tour. Make sure to read the text that pops up for prices and jokes :) We even detail where we bought certain items and the cost of shipping and set-up. I'll keep going through receipts and bank statements and if I've left anything out, I'll add it in the comments and description. I'll even provide a list of items we bought and their costs, that way this video will give you an idea of what it might cost to set up even a fully furnished, fully equipped 60 meter (600+ square foot) apartment so you can budget more easily.

Ikea (https://www.ikea.es/) offers many items, including furniture, that can be purchased online and shipped directly to you (even if you live in the historic center). They also have a partnership with Task Rabbit who will send someone to your apartment to build the furniture for a low cost. Drivers need a special permit to drive in the city center and there were extra restrictions because of Christmas and the health crisis, so IKEA took a few extra days to get us our items. Buying online, paying for delivery and assembly was still worth it though!
