Vintage Scuba diving and Finding bikes in lake Superior on 8-8-2016

Описание к видео Vintage Scuba diving and Finding bikes in lake Superior on 8-8-2016

During a recent solo dive I found and retrieved these two bikes, a scooter and more while trying out my 1970's vintage Dacor Scuba equipment. Sorry if the video is a bit long. My editing skills are not yet up to par. Cool vintage gear includes a Dacor CVS Nautilus, A Dacor Olympic regulator and gauges and a Dacor mask.
The Nautilus is a fairly unique piece of dive gear that is used for buoyancy much like a modern BC. Air is added and evacuated as your depth increases or decreases. The chamber is a hard plastic shell that you flood with water as you begin the dive and add a little air to become neutrally buoyant. Once neutral, your buoyancy is maintained automatically with the Dacor regulator that came with the unit. This is one of two that I know of that are still in use. There are a handful of collectors who own a CVS Nautilus but very few dive one.
I was also testing out an Oceanic Veo 200 dive computer that I bought used. It seems fairly accurate.
