[SMRT] [DEBUT] Alstom Movia R151 [825/826] - First Revenue Service Trip on the East-West Line!

Filmed on 4th June 2023.

On 4th June 2023 at 0711hrs, 825/826 was deployed on T319 as the debut for the Alstom Movia R151. The train ran all the way until 1530hrs where it got to replaced by 129/130.

This train is honestly amazing, cold aircon, fresh smell, loud announcements, nice DRMD system. The only downside is that the R151’s motor is probably the most pathetic in the fleet.

SGT2581 Announcement: With LTA announcing the retirement of the First, Second and Third Generation Trains in Singapore, (Kawasaki Heavy Industries Contract 151, Siemens Aktiengesellschaft C651 and Kawasaki Nippon Sharyo C751B), both of us will be filming more of these trains on both NSL and EWL, to commemorate the great service that these trains have provided.
