ResearchFx, a division of EastFx Media Communication India Private Limited, which has been the No.1 Research Company in India since 2004 and has had given phenomenally accurate and detailed predictions in 2004, 2009, 2014, 2019 elections has today released its pre-poll survey results of Munugode Assembly Constituency for which By-Poll has been held today. Since its a pre-poll survey it expects some variations based on pre-poll day and poll day incidents but is indicative of the mood of the voters. We expect TRS to gain another ~5% as undecided voters mostly tend to vote for who is perceived as likely winning candidate. So in the 7% voters who were undecided we expect TRS to gain ~5% and BJP to gain ~2%.

Below are the Highlights of the Survey report

TRS will win with ~34.2%, BJP will come second with ~28.9%.
TRS vote share is an increase of ~4% over last elections in 2018.
Congress Vote which stood at 50.51% is now divided between itself and BJP.
BJP which had 8% previously has gained only 20% by getting the sitting Congress legislator into its fold thereby getting ~28%.
In the remaining ~30%, Congress is likely to retain ~27% while losing ~3% to TRS.
Congress Candidate who contested as an independent in 2014 (because Congress gave the seat to CPI as part of alliance) had got 15.97% by herself and so is gaining only another 10% by becoming congress candidate.
Caste is not playing a major role in this constituency as voting patterns are similar across castes.
BJP has dominated the 18-30 age group with nearly 40% vote share in this segment and has been especially successful in grabbing first time voters.
TRS is strong in the 45+ age group.
It has been a tight contest between TRS & BJP in Munugodu, Chandur, Marriguda, & Narayanpur mandals. BJP took a large lead in Choutuppal mandal which has a comparatively large population. This has been compensated by a strong performance of TRS in Nampally mandal.
Roads, Health, Drinking Water, Agriculture and Irrigation were local issues that dominated voters decision making.
Voters were generally positive on most state government schemes except that of Mission Kakatiya. Munugode constituency voters are disappointed with Mission Kakatiya while being positive on Rythubandhu, Dalitbadhu, Kalyanlakshmi, etc. have been rated positively by this constituency voters.
