Installing VermisTerra Hydrospirals with a Gas Powered Auger

Описание к видео Installing VermisTerra Hydrospirals with a Gas Powered Auger

This video shows how to dig holes using a gas powered auger, in order to install Vermisterra deep root irrigation system: the HydroSpiral. You can use an auger, post digger or shovel to dig a hole. The fastest way is using an auger- it takes 1-2 mins to dig one hole. You can use a special auger or an accessory for your hand drill.

Best used with VermisTerra Tea to increase microbial life in your soil. The Hydrospirals help improve aeration to the soil, and allow water to penetrate the root zone.
We recommend using 2" tubes for sandy soil conditions, and 3" tubes for clay soil.

It's best to use a slower drip irrigation system with these tubes. See our website for more information and ordering.

NOTE: We no longer suggest placing gravel in the top pot. Dust can build up over time, clog up the airflow which will encourage roots to grow into the tube. Keeping the top pot empty, cleaning out the debris periodically is the best way to maintain your Hydrospiral.
