I worked for the Department for Work and Pensions. I am disabled, and I repeatedly asked for the reasonable adjustments I needed to work safely.

After waiting nearly 18 months for the equipment and support recommended by Occupational Health, I followed union advice and raised a grievance. Instead of support, I was placed on a monitoring process and later dismissed for a piece of system-generated data that did not belong to me, did not contain my name, and placed me somewhere I can prove I was not.

In the Employment Tribunal:

The Tribunal acknowledged that the DWP failed to make the adjustments I needed

Which is the legal definition of disability discrimination

But the Tribunal then ignored key evidence that showed the impact this had on my health and work

And instead relied on conflicting and incorrect evidence submitted by the DWP

Including digital evidence that changed between versions

The Judge later admitted there were errors in the judgment, but told me I was “out of time” to have them corrected.

This case is now moving to the Court of Appeal, and if necessary, to Judicial Review.
This is no longer just about me — it is about how disabled people are treated in the workplace and within the legal system itself.

This is a public interest legal challenge.
