Machenike G6 V2 Review — This Controller Runs at 1000Hz... With PS5 Haptics!

This controller has haptics that feel dangerously close to the PS5 DualSense and it’s doing that while running at 1000Hz with TMR joysticks for just 54 bucks. Which honestly made me question a lot of expensive controllers.

On paper, specs like this sound amazing. But controllers have a long history of disappointing me once you actually start playing games. So this is the Machenike G6 V2, a multi-platform controller that’s clearly aiming way above its price bracket.

And to be fair, $54 is a really awkward price for a controller. At that point, it needs to be noticeably better than the cheap stuff, but also good enough to make you question controllers that cost twice as much.

So I’ve been daily-driving this controller across PC, a bit of Switch, and a lot of actual gameplay to see if it’s genuinely good… or just another controller that looks impressive on a spec sheet.
