Keshav Prasad Maurya, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister has come forward in the defense of 80% Vs 20% fight remark made by Yogi Adityanath UP CM, claiming that the statement did not refer to 80% Hindu and 20% Muslim. Mrs. Maurya further said "we do politics keeping key issues in minds like development and removing corruption, not on religion. We supported the Ayodhya construction matter and today it is going forward. People who were always against Rambhakts have become a Rambhakt today".

Deputy CM also highlighted '20%' as SP, BSP, and Cong who merely play the politics on caste and religion.
