Hee-joo (Chae Soo-bin) finds herself stranded in a remote mountain area, injured and unable to move. Without her belongings, her one means of calling for help is the kidnapper's phone, which is pre-programmed to dial only Sa-eon (Yoo Yeon-seok). During the call, Sa-eon instructs Hee-joo to signal her location by using the emergency flare he placed in her backpack. He then rushes toward her as quickly as he can, guided by the flare in the night sky.
